November Sun Run 2012

The 6th November Sun Run which will take place from the 6th -9th November. The rally will be based in the northen part of the Vosges national park. The rally has not visited this part of the Vosges but can confirm that it is as beautiful and as traffic free as the rest of the Vosges.

We have planned all new routes through the Vosges but of course will add in a few of our favourite stops.

What`s different this year.

Apart from using a centralised hotel for 3 days we will have many changes to the navigation. As an example on some of the sections the navigators will be given reference points and they will then have to plot the shortest route possible.

Day 1   Eclance -Metz

The start will take place in Eclance a small village in the Champagne Region of France. During the morning session we will be heading north in the direction of the Meuse before stopping for lunch close to the historique battlefields of Verdun. After lunch we will see the start of the first "Plot and Bash" section of the rally. Navigators will have to pick up the pace as this is where the fun begins.  The evening will be in a hotel close to the centre of Metz.
