November Sun Run 2012
The 6th November Sun Run which will take place from the 6th -9th November. The rally will be based in the northen part of the Vosges national park. The rally has not visited this part of the Vosges but can confirm that it is as beautiful and as traffic free as the rest of the Vosges.
We have planned all new routes through the Vosges but of course will add in a few of our favourite stops.
What`s different this year.
Apart from using a centralised hotel for 3 days we will have many changes to the navigation. As an example on some of the sections the navigators will be given reference points and they will then have to plot the shortest route possible.

Day 2 Metz-Rally Hotel
Leaving Metz we will be passing through some beautiful countryside before arriving at our first stop of the day. From this stop we will be going into the mountains to tackle our first serious climb over some stunning Cols before our lunch stop. After lunch more Cols and forests before we arrive at the Rally Hotel which is situated just across the German border for a well earned rest.

The first control will be at the Monastery of Mt St Odile (800m) The second section will cover new routes across the Vosges mountains before lunch on top of the Col de la Schlucht (1139m).
